Spotlight on London

With the whole world's eyes firmly fixed on London at the moment, I thought it was time to hit the streets and take in the famous sights that I take for granted every day.

My big bro came up to visit  recently and with cameras in hand we spent the day on the ultimate photo tourist trail which included all things London from red buses to Boris bikes.  Here's what we got up to:

Weekend in the West Country

I spent this weekend back home in the good ol' West Country with the family.  Determined not to let the recent downpours and typical British weather dampen our fun, we pulled on our wellies and waterproofs and explored the beautiful meadows and woods right on our doorstep.  What better way to spend a summer afternoon?

Summer of Sport

The British summer of sport has finally kicked off and we had lots to cheer in London last weekend with Murray winning a late Saturday night thriller at Wimbledon and England beating Australia in the second one day international game at The Oval....

The sun was out in full force over Wimbledon during the morning but typically this didn't last long and the roof was soon over Centre Court....

The covers soon came off though and it was time to enjoy some Pimms on Henman Hill...

Below are some of the fashion highlights from Wimbledon - the Adidas adiPure womens dress was my favourite and I LOVED  Dustin Brown's bright yellow and orange shoe laces.

After a day filled of Pimms at the tennis, we ended the weekend drinking more Pimms in the sun and watching England beat the Aussies by six wickets at The Oval......
